UAE won the Triangular T-20 series beating Nepal
UAE has won the title of the triangular T-20 series in Kathmandu. UAE won the T20 series by defeating Nepal by 4 wickets in the final match at TU International Cricket Ground.
Chasing the target of 163 runs given by Nepal, UAE scored 167 runs losing 6 wickets in 19.5 overs.
Mohammad Wasim scored 45 runs for UAE. Similarly Vritya Aravind 26, Arnesh Sharma 25 and Basil Hamad scored 22 not out.
Gulshan Jha and Avinash Bohora took 2 2 wickets for Nepal. Similarly, Kushal Malla took one wicket.
Earlier, after losing the toss and batting first, Nepal scored 163 runs after losing 8 wickets.
For Nepal, Kushal Bhurtel scored 50 runs, Dipendra Singh Airy scored 20 runs, captain Rohit Paudel scored 18 runs, Sompal Kamil scored 13 runs, and Sandeep Jorale scored 10 runs.
Similarly, Asif Sekh scored 7 runs, Kushal Malla scored 1 run, Gulshan Jha scored 5 runs, Karan KC scored 23 unbeaten runs.
Similarly, UAE bowler Afzal Khan took 3 wickets while Ali Naseer and Zahoor Khan took 2 wickets each.
