USA’s winning start at the World Cup
The United States, co-host of the FIFA World Cup, has made a winning start. The United States defeated Paraguay 4-1 at home. Florent Balogun scored 2 goals, and Giovanni Reyna scored one goal for the United States. Damian Bodadilla scored an own goal for Paraguay. Mauricio scored one goal for Paraguay.
With this win in Group D, the United States has made a great start to the World Cup and has collected an important 3 points. The United States is now scheduled to play its next matches against Australia on June 20 and Turkey on June 26.
Similarly, Paraguay will play Turkey on June 20 and Australia on June 26.
