Nepal Lost against India, India reaches semi final of Asian games
Defeating Nepal by 23 runs, India reached the semi-finals of the ongoing Asian Games. Chasing the target of 203 runs given by India, Nepal scored 179 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs.
For Nepal, Dipendra Singh Airee scored 32 runs while Kushal Malla and Sandeep Zora scored 29-29 runs. Similarly, Kushal Bhurtel scored 28 runs, Asif Sheikh scored 10 runs, captain Rohit Paudel scored 3 runs, Sompal Kami scored 7 runs, and Gulshan Jha scored 6 runs. Similarly, Karan KC scored 18 runs and Sandeep Lamichhane scored 5 runs.
Similarly, Indian bowlers Ravi Bisnoi and Aves Khan took 3 wickets each while Arshdeep Singh took 2 wickets. Sai Kishor also took one wicket.
Earlier, after winning the toss, India batted first and scored 202 runs losing 4 wickets in 20 overs.
Yashasvi Jaiswal played a century for India. He was dismissed after scoring 100 runs off 49 balls. Similarly, captain Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 25 runs for India while Shivam Dubey scored 25 runs unbeaten. Similarly, Tilak Verma scored 2 runs, Jitesh Sharma scored 5 runs and Rinku Singh scored 37 unbeaten runs.
Similarly, Nepal bowler Dipendra Singh Airee took 2 wickets while Sompal Kami and Sandeep Lamichhane took one wicket each.
With this, India has reached the semi-finals and Nepal’s Asian Games cricket journey has come to an end.
