Nepal’s losing streak continues in League-2, Nepal lost against the USA

Nepal has lost against the USA by 3 wickets. USA defeated Nepal by 3 wickets in the first match of the triangular series under the ongoing ICC World Cup League-2.

Chasing the target of 287 runs given by Nepal, the USA achieved the target by losing 7 wickets in 49.4 overs. Shayan Jagagir played a century of 104 runs for the USA, captain Monank Patel scored 62 runs, and Harmeet Sigh scored 57 runs.

Similarly, Nepalese bowler Kushal Bhurtel took 4 wickets, Sompal Kami took 2 wickets and Lalit Rajbanshi took one wicket each.

Earlier, Nepal lost the toss and batted first and scored 286 runs in 50 overs. For Nepal, captain Rohit Paudel scored 96 runs while Anil Shah scored 56 runs, Aasif Sheikh scored 52 runs and Aarif Sheikh scored 37 runs.

Along with this, Nepal suffered its seventh defeat in World Cup League 2. So far, Nepal has suffered 7 defeats in 9 matches and is in seventh place with only 3 points. In the same way, the USA has achieved the seventh victory.

Now the next match in the series is scheduled to be played by Nepal against Scotland on Tuesday night.
