Mark Watt’s century leads Karnali to a stunning 9-wicket win over Lumbini

Karnali Yaks have defeated Lumbini Lions in the Nepal Premier League (NPL). Karnali defeated Lumbini by 9 wickets in the first match held on Saturday. Chasing a target of 157 runs set by Lumbini, Karnali achieved the target in 12.2 overs, losing one wicket.

Mark Watt scored a century in Karnali’s victory, scoring 114 runs in 44 balls.

Earlier, Lumbini, batting first, scored 156 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. In which captain Rohit Poudel played an innings of 49 runs.

This is Karnali’s first win in the second match, while Lumbini has also suffered one win and one loss in two matches.

Biratnagar Kings and Kathmandu Gorkhas will play a match today at 4 pm under the NPL.
